Fuyohhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeap, we went to Sunny Bank today. It was about an hour bus from Indoo to Sunny Bank. We got lost actually as we ended up in the Garden City. Oh well, of course we caught another bus to go to the Sunny Bank.
There isn't anything much in the Sunny Bank till ... *will talk about that in a little while, hehe*
The world is small enough as we met Lay Nee's aunt-Aunt Debbie when we were in the centre. She was with her friend, so, of course we chit chat for a little while. She invited us to stay at her house for one night as Sunday, she wants to take us to Goldcoast. That is so nice of her. ^-^
After that, we went to walk around, again.
Seriously, there isn't anything much there. Before we headed back home, we dropped by at the vegetarian shop for our dinner. We ordered a tomyam steamboat to share and 2 honey green tea. Well well, let me comment on the food again. The tomyam is tasteless this time, and the honey green tea is bitter if i wanna say so.

The best part is coming out which is we went to try out on the Skill Tester. Luck was on Lay Nee's side as she got 4 dolls;2 or 3 dolls on one shot. Actually she could have got 5 dolls because the machine stopped and dropped back the doll! This is so unfair!!! Oh well, after she got her dolls, i only got mine; i got 2 only. *Sign* She sure has a good skill in attacking the soft toys, lolx. I started first but ended with 2 only. Oh well, 2 is okay, better than none, haha.
So, in total, we both spent at about $9.2 for the toys. We shouldn't put in another 2dollars as at the end part, we got more greedy, so, nothing in return for sure. The moral value here is to learn not to be greedy. XD
Anyhow, i would consider that we are quite lucky to get 6 dolls in the play since another friend of mine spent at about RM 52+ to get a small teddy bear only back in Malaysia. Lolx So, be glad then :)

We spent at about 20 minutes by playing the skill tester machine. After that, we didn't know how to get back home. So yea, we went to the city to change the bus in order to get back home.

A Trip To The City

Today was kinda an easy day for most of us. It didn't involve anything much as we went to uni to do our student card WITHOUT a que (which is so great), that's all for today.
So, Lay Nee and i decided to go to the city, to explore as Sari prefers to go back home straight.
The city is a nice place as i kinda like it. It is not too crowded but there are people all over.

We didn't buy much stuffs as the food has cost us a lot. $9 for the fried rice with 2dishes of veggies!!!!! Guess what is the taste this time...
It is so salty! Goodness!!! How am i going to eat finish thst?! But in the i finised it since it is so expensive and i don't want any waste, so, i gotta finish it. By finishing it, i have drank 2 bottles of water. *Sign* Why is it the food here is so extreme? When we were having our lunch, we noticed that people there are just normal to have extreme flavours in their food. A lady sitting beside of us, with 2 small shushi rolls, she pour in the whole packet of the soy source onto the shusi before she even tastes them. We were like..." What the heck that fellow is doing?!". I guess it is just normal for them to have EXTREME ingredients in their food. Gosh!!! I wonder what will happen to me if i continue to eat like them. Haha XD

Nevermind about the food part as i will have further post for it, lolx. So, like usual, of course i will go into the goodies shops. What is the "goodies" do i mean here...* i wonder what is that*, haha. Have a guess then...
I want the koala(s) and kangaroo(s) very much!!! They are so adorable. In terms of Aussie dollars, the price is quite reasonable, but, when you convert the price into RM, it is sort of expensive. Life is always difficult to convert the money to a smaller value. Haha...
Before we went back, we met a 4 year old kid. He is a lovely and friendly kid. He just talked to us (of course without knowing us- we are strangers!!! lolx) while waiting her mum in the shop. I would prefer this kind of kid to stay with me rather than Ilan because Ilan is too... *sign*
Anyhow, i am not going to face any kids after 2 weeks since i am going to move. Hohohohohoho!!!!!!!! But, but,... there is always a but, i am going to bother someone in that house which is Lay Nee!!!!!! Haha... Of course i won't be bothering her since i will have tonnes of assignments soon. So, no worries. : )

Finally!!!!!!!! I can online *but just for a little while cause the line is terrible, heck!!!!*

I couldn't online for like almost 1 week. Why? Because i forgot to bring my laptop charger over to Aussie. Grrrr.... >.<"
I was so so so bored, there ain't anything to do.
Where should i start then. Hmmm...
Yeap, currently i am staying with an Australian homestay family. When i first stepped into the house i was like "Oh Gosh!!!" The house was so not tidy. Everything was like all around the house. The kitchen was filled up with used plates, flies all over. SWT!!! I seriously can't do anything, can i? No one to contact because the roaming wasn't working at all. My laptop was down cause i couldn't charged it without a charger? I was like so lost. *Wink, nevermind that, it has passed, lala*
If the house management is another better person, it will be a lovely environment to live in and i wouldn't want to move to another place because i got a really big room. However, Nicola is a nice person and her son Ilan is so adorable. But, but, he is too active and naughty so it ends up he is sort of like annoying?! Lol... *sign* Kidssss....

Luckily, on that day itself, Lay Nee's aunt brought us to do some shopping, so, it wasn't that bad afterall.
I got myself a touchscreen phone since i gotta pay $29 per month, might as well i take a package for 2 years and get a phone in return. With an additional top ups by $5 will enable me to access to the internet, but of course, with a limit.

Well, of course, i went to UQ these few days by walking from my house to UQ ( approximately 1.2km to 1.3 km).The weather was quite hot, sunny all the while. Gosh! I hate the sun because i had enough. But, what to do, i am in Brisbane, the sunshine place... aiksss. T - T
Anyhow, let's get back to the uni issue. Before the orientation started, uncle Ted (Lay Nee's host parent) took us around UQ for a look so that we won't get lost the other day. Can you imagine how huge is the campus just in the St. Lucia? Haha XD There are tennis courts, city cat, and so on so forth in the campus which i am still not sure yet. All i know, the Great Court is really a nice place, it is the oldest building among all. : )Other than that,everything seems pretty good as well, not so sure about it YET as i didn't really go to explore yet.

That's about the great court. Why don't i talk a little about the food by then. The food there is verry expensive; expensive is a matter, and the food taste extrem? I bought a vegetarian noodle form the stall which cost me $8 and the noodles taste so sweet.
AS usual, i love junks, (evil laugh), i went to Inddor to buy some junks and the junks taste extreme too as there are all too salty. Gosh!!! This is the very first time i did't finish my junks in one shot. I still have them here, want some? Lol...

It is Just an Ordinary day, haha

It is more like an ordinary day to me eventhough it is my birthday.
Anyhow, special thanks to Lay Nee for the bear and the necklace. Love them a lot. Haha =)I have thought of a name for him, will call him Flixstophere. His name begins with a F as i got his name from the flower that he is holding onto. :)





Also, i wanna thank my friends as you all did send me warm greetings that melt my heart. Thanks a lot!!!!!!! Really appreciate the wishes. Hope that the wishes will come true in no time. Haha xD

It's been a long long time i didn't celebrate my birthday with a cake. This year, i got an ice-cream cake and some beauty products from my lovely aunt. It is so kind of her to bring the cake over to my house eventhough her schedule is full.











This year's birthday is quite unique in a way. Why did i say so? Because... i feel so.Things are quite unexpected this year. Thanks to all of you - my surrounding friends and relatives. I am on top of the world indeed.

I am Going to Miss you, Aunt : )

My aunt gave me a call few days ago, asking whether i am available to date with her and her boy friend. Well, since the time is kinda packed, and she is also like another mother to me, of course, no matter how busy i am, for sure i wanna date with her. Haha ^-^V

They came and fetched me, went straight to Ferringhi Garden for dinner. Quite classy for the place there, based on the Chinese designs, with nature as well. If i am to eat there, my heart peels as the dishes are so expensive. One glass of juice costs RM9.8. Other than that, everything seems very very expensive. I think the bill is more than RM220 + for three of us. However, the food is nice there and the portion given is quite huge. So, it's okay, i guess. Lolx

All i know, the dessert is quite sweet. Seriously, too sweet till i don't seem to eat it.I wonder when i can see you again since i don't think i wanna come back for the summer holiday as i prefer to stay for internship. Thanks aunt for taking care of me all this while. Also special thanks to Mr Ooi as well, for the expensive dinner. Haha XD I hope things can work out. : )

My New Baby

Yeap, bought my new baby today. I wanted it to be in red but ended up it is in pink in colour. Well, what to do? Toshiba has each of its models for one colour only. The red colour one is suitable for the gamers and the designers as the graphic card is good enough to support. Well, i was told that it is not worth at all to spend so much on that laptop since i don't play games.

I don't like black and white because they are simply quite common? So, i take pink. Nevermind, pink is just fine.

Thaipusum

Well, this year's Thaipusum is on 8 Feb 2009. As usual, there was a long jam at the end of the Jalan Utama (the road in front of the entrance to my house). The other part for the Jalan Utama was blocked as vehicles weren't allowed to go in (Wondering why? Will show the pictures later on). The jam was bad enough as the whole Pulau Tikus area was congested and there was a really long jam until Greenland.

This year is a bit special as i went to the festival together with my grandma. My grandma doesn't stay with us but this time it is exceptional, for some reasons (haha).

Well, i manage to take down some pictures as this is the first time i am taking down the pictures for the Thaipusum festival eventhough mostly every year i go for the festival.
